Chris Beales - Music

I am a song-writer, musician from Reading: lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Static Rain. I also play acoustically, either solo or with a variety of musicians from around the town. I have played in most of the venues in and around Reading over the past few years. I've also recorded four albums, including my passionate solo album "Ragged Valentine" and the band's recent, powerful rock album "Brittle Sky".

Over the last year I have been working on a new set of songs, and a bit of a change to my stage act. With some flashy lights at my feet it is all sounding quite exciting. Time now to get some more gigs arranged and to get myself back into the recording studio.

Blues-rock is one side to my music. It ranges from there, to lighter and darker shades of acoustic guitar driven songs. The links on the left take you to pages of songs - which you can listen to and judge for yourself...and download them if you like them - there are also videos, links and information.
