About my website
I have built this website to share information about my music, my knowledge of climate change and a few of my other interests. It is designed to be simple to use, and is free from any flashy bits of programming so you should find it both safe and responsive.
You are viewing these pages in their Basic Configuration. If you have JavaScript and cookies enabled, you can change this by clicking here. In the advanced configuration you should see a fixed set of menu links, at the top of the browser window, with the rest of the page contents free to scroll underneath: otherwise the content is exactly the same. Firefox and the latest Internet Explorer browsers (version 7 & 8) should default to this advanced setup, as I have tested these and found them to work ok. Other browsers may or may not work (notice that it wont function correctly on mobile devices like the iPhone). If the pages don't display properly, please just switch back to the basic configuration. ![[i]](images/_info.jpg "Notice that you might find things like the sizing and positioning of pictures are a bit odd in old browsers like Internet Explorer 6. The pages are all written using the latest web standards so they are hopefully looking (or sounding) good on your browser! :o)
The site is not interactive so I don't collect any personal information about you. There are no links to dodgy sites, and whilst there may be some poor grammar in places, there is no bad language. I hope that you can therefore feel confident to explore these pages no matter how old or young you are.

Note about images and labels
All pictures on the site have titles, which you should be able to see if you hover over them with your mouse-pointer. I have used this idea to add additional notes in places, which you can see wherever hover over this symbol:
If you are browsing these pages with a cunning mobile device, like an iPhone, you wont have a mouse-pointer. Not to worry though as you can click on the pictures: this will fire up a message with the picture title for you to read, and will also give you the option of opening the images as full size.
